I went for my birthday, alone. I tried to make my experience as memorable as possible by ordering a drink and three courses. Shannon was my server, he was very kind and very engaging, he was genuinely interested in me having a good time while dining. The food was absolutely fantastic; the flavors were rich, chicken wings were crisp, prime rib was beautifully cooked and warm, and the dessert had a very nice sweet touch to wrap up such a great meal. If it weren’t for the prices I would come every other week, but I’m happy to save this place for special occasions always!
Booked a reservation on opentable for 9 people and 6 of us use power wheelchairs so I called the keg a few days before inquiring about accessibility. The lady on the phone was very pleasant saying they would give us a private room! Very nice overall experience first time and definitely not my last time here! Amazing food, customer service and atmosphere. Our waiter Mark was very accommodating and cordial ensuring everyone was happy. I highly recommend the filet mignon, prime rib, and NY strip. Will come again next year for my birthday again!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Keg Steakhouse for the second time, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding—our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and made excellent recommendations. The timing of each course was perfect, and we never felt rushed or neglected. Now, onto the food—absolutely phenomenal! The steaks were cooked to perfection, seasoned beautifully, and melted in our mouths. The 20 OZ Rib Steak , in particular, was one of the best I’ve ever had—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The sides were just as impressive, from the creamy garlic mashed potatoes to the perfectly grilled mushrooms. We also tried their signature appetizers, and every bite was a delight. I recommend the Tuna Tartare. The Keg’s cocktail and wine selection perfectly complemented the meal, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a top-notch steakhouse, The Keg delivers on every level. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return!
Fantastic experience. I have been to many The Keg locations and this is the best one in terms of food and atmosphere. The food was great. Steak was cooked perfectly, the cheese lobster was excellent. Calamari and butter bread were all good as well. Server was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely visit again.
Visited The Keg for an evening dinner at their Sheppard-Yonge location! The dining area was exquisite and very dim, with an array of seating at booths and bars. Reservations are recommended especially on weekends. The service was amazing and our waiter was very attentive to our requests and orders. We have ordered the Calamari, Prime Rib, Top Sirloin, and a complimentary side of bread, which came with amazing garlic butter! The drinks we ordered were the Agua Fresca which did not the taste the way I expected, and the Tropical Spritz, which was the better drink from the two. Their selections of Wines, Spirits, and Drinks cater to different tastes and preferences, especially pairing with their Steaks. Good experience here! Will come again
First time here I have try top sirloin steak with medium rare cook it very good. Dessert I try Billy Miner pie is great. I am looking forward to come back and try other menu.
Had a wonderful anniversary dinner with kids. Service is great as my kid has allergy and they ensure the food is safe. The kids meal comes with veggie platter and my kid picked the sirloin with veggie. I picked prime rib myself. Everything cooked at the right temperature. Sometimes, when you order medium and it became medium well. This is not the case here. There’s few the Keg locations around and I picked this one mainly for reviews with good service. And they don’t disappoint me .
